Qualified educator Lead activities, care, and development of children in line with the educational program and current standards.
The qualified educator ensures the wellbeing, safety, and development of the children in their group. They plan and lead age-appropriate educational activities, collaborate with parents and the team, and apply the daycare's educational program and current standards.
Qualifications and requirements:
- DEC in Early Childhood Education (or recognized equivalent)
- 3 years of experience in childcare
- Good communication in French (English an asset)
- Organized, creative, and caring
Assistant educator Support the educator in daily care, activities, and supervision of children.
The assistant educator supports the lead educator in child care (meals, diaper changes, routines), activity preparation, and group supervision. They contribute to the smooth running of the day and the caring atmosphere of the daycare.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Training or experience in early childhood
- Interest in working with 0–5 year olds
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Punctuality and reliability
- Empathy and patience
Assistant director Support the director in day-to-day management, team coordination, and compliance with standards.
The assistant director supports the director in the administrative and pedagogical management of the daycare. They help coordinate the team, ensure compliance with regulations and schedules, communicate with families, and organize planning and files.
Qualifications and requirements:
- DEC in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) and significant experience
- Knowledge of the educational program
- Skills in management, planning, and communication
- Fluency in French (written and spoken); English an asset
- Caring leadership and sense of responsibility
